Your blog post should be between 250 and 300 words. You will need to make choices about what to include and what to exclude in order to best communicate your stance.
Walmart Shooting           Suspect arrested in Walmart shooting; two others at large.

Wednesday morning at a Walmart in San Leandro, a man was shot after four men attempted to rob him for his purchases. They struggled with the man to get his bags, but the man didn’t want to give up his black Friday purchases. As a result to this struggle, one of the robbers shot the man once and then fled the scene. The victims family caught one of the robbers by holding him down until the police came. The article says that the Walmart shoppers went back to business as usual a little more than a hour from the shooting.  People are getting out of hand with their greed and overall wrong upbringing. I love a goo deal, but you will not see me in a tent posting outside a store, you will not see me pepper spraying children to get to a video game, and you will not see me fighting to save a few dollars. All the violence attached to Black Friday is out of control and should be stopped. As long as this event is into place, it’s going to be out of hand. There is nothing the police can do about it, police will only tame it. Black Friday is something I can do without. So, the next time you want a deal on some electronics, think about is it worth it to get shot or trampled for a couple dollars.

Inspiration

In small and large ways, we are all inspired. We draw our inspiration from people, pictures, art, music, behaviour, nature, etc. Consider something that inspires you and write a blog post of 300-350 words about it. Here are some things you may touch on:

  • Describe the source of your inspiration- be specific and detailed.
  • What feelings or emotions do you experience?
  • Are you alone or do you share this inspiration with others? Are you aware of others having an alternate reaction to your source of inspiration?
  • Forecast how long you think this inspiration will last- does it inspire you in the moment or something that you will derive inspiration from for the years to come?

The most interesting, beautiful, inspiring person in world to me is my son Theodore Cornelius-Adkins Jr. He is the sole reason for me wanting to be a better person and further myself in life. I’ve always had every-thing I have ever needed and wanted in life and I naturally want the same for my son. The economy these days is in shambles, so trying to go to school and get a better education to get out of the retail trap is the only option to live comfortably. It’s almost impossible to make a honest living in the world unless you have a foot in the door in the corporate world or know somebody to put you in a position to give you a good position. Honestly, the reason why I joined year up is to get an internship and work hard to inspire my inspiration. Every morning when i wake him up and get him dressed for school, I give him a big hug and kiss then I think to myself I have to do some big things in this life. That's why why my son is my inspiration.
I hate to sound so materialistic, but I am inspired by any people who make a lot of money in a legal way. If a person can make large amount of money in a morally sound way that is very admirable. My grandmother used to tell me that a rich man getting into heaven is harder than a camel getting through the head of a pin. I don't think that money is the root of all evil. Large amounts of money in the right hands can make a huge positive impact on the world. Some say the best things in life are free; but they forgot to mention that the second best things in life cost money.
