McClymonds High Experience

I attended a very good academic high school in the middle of a "bad" neighborhood, "bad" meaning not the richest area. Although there was crime and poverty in the city I attended high school, home is home. My school was the type of environment where the education was there for you if you wanted to strive to be better. I graduated with a 3.4 cumulative grade point average and many of my peers received scholarships to very good colleges. There was also a large group of my peers who I seen in class as little as a handful of times during a whole school year. With that being said, life is what you make it and your surroundings shouldn't determine your future life path. My parents worked very hard to make sure I had the since and values to want a good education. I would love to hear some feedback about this blog. I think it would be an excellent in class discussion. 1. I quite agree that life is what you make it. I didn't really know what I wanted to make out of mine, which is why I didn't do the greatest in school, even though I knew a good education is important.
