The Past is Practice

What are some of the things you learned about yourself as a student or a professional in Module I? Did you surprise yourself in any way? Were you proud of yourself? Were you at all disappointed in yourself? Why?
One of the main thing I learned about myself in the first module was that I can still survive in a college setting. When I began the program I didn't think that I could get back in the rhythm of going to school everyday, doing homework, and answering to someone that is not paying me enough to survive. I had to really focus on the bigger picture and "swallow my pride" to get to a place where I want to be. I really surprised myself by taking the program as serious as I did and I'm glad that I was able to make it through the first module. I plan to work even harder throughout module 2 to build up my points, be a better student, and professional young man.

As a person who is very often not on time, I was very proud of myself in the last month and a half to have no late infractions. When I first joined year up I was still trying to get into the grove of waking up early, as a result to that I was late more times than I would have like to be. At first I was very disappointed about my attendance but as It got easier to get here on time my confidence rose.
